Zone3 x Level Water

“Just Getting People in the Water”: Why Level Water and Zone3 make a natural team.

When you think about wetsuits, you probably think about performance - speed, racing, long distances. But for Zone3, performance means something bigger. It means confidence. Adventure. Starting lines. And most of all, access.

That’s why, when Zone3 approached us at Level Water - not to sell wetsuits, but to ask how they could support our mission to make swimming fair for disabled children - we knew this was going to be a special partnership.

“Honestly, I almost missed it,” Ian from Level Water laughs. “I was trying to pitch event sponsorship, and James, Zone3 founder, just kept asking about the kids. It was so genuine - he cared deeply about access, about impact. It wasn’t about the product. It was about people.”

At Level Water, we provide 1-to-1 swimming lessons for children with disabilities, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and discover all the joy, freedom and wellness that swimming brings. And thanks to the help of incredible partners like Zone3, we’re also expanding our work to get our kids into more outdoor challenges, and have ambitions to increase parental support - so that more people, of all ages, can start their journey in the water.

A Mission-First Partnership

“It’s been a no-brainer working with Zone3,” says Ian. “When we met James, he was so passionate about getting people into the water, and doing it in a way where the kit supports the experience - not gets in the way of it.”

That purpose-driven approach came through from the first conversation. For Zone3, it was about more than wetsuits.

“We’ve wanted to partner with you guys for a long time,” says Gabby from Zone3. “It’s not just what you’re doing for kids - it’s the way your events give people of all levels the chance to swim, challenge themselves, and have fun. It just felt like a perfect match.”

Confidence in the water - at every level.

At Zone3, the mission is simple: create world-class kit that helps people feel good in the water. Whether you’re just starting out or chasing a PB, they want you to feel confident, capable and supported.

“It doesn’t have to be about racing,” Gabby explains. “Sometimes performing just means enjoying yourself. Looking around. Finishing a challenge. Feeling good.”

That philosophy runs deep in their design approach - wetsuits for every level, fit for every swimmer, and technical details that let people focus on the swim, not the suit. And that makes a real difference, especially at Level Water’s outdoor events, where swimmers might be in the water for over an hour, sometimes for the very first time.

“When people feel good, they relax. And when they relax, they enjoy it - and come back for more,” says Ian. “That’s how swimming becomes a habit, a joy, a part of life.”

From First Splash to Finish Line

For Level Water, this partnership goes beyond kit. It’s about access - not just for children, but for adults, parents and families too.

“Zone3 helps us support beginners and adventurers alike,” Ian shares. “And their support has already helped us open pools in areas we couldn’t reach before. That means more children learning to swim, more parents feeling confident, and more communities getting connected to the water.”

“To know we’re having that impact right away - helping kids swim, helping parents feel reassured - it’s exactly why we wanted to get involved,” says Gabby. “It’s easy to take it for granted, but learning to swim can change everything.”

The next chapter of the partnership will support parents even more - helping them understand how to safely and confidently support their child’s swimming journey, even before lessons begin.

“Sometimes it’s just about knowing what’s normal - what to expect, what’s safe, what progress looks like,” says Ian. “That little bit of knowledge can make a huge difference.”

“That’s the kind of thing we want to be part of,” Gabby adds. “It’s not just helping kids - it’s helping families. It’s giving people a way in.”

Built for the Water. Driven by Purpose.

From pools to rivers, first-time dippers to podium chasers, Zone3 is there to support people in the water - with kit that performs, and a purpose that aligns.

“We’re all about enabling everyone to swim,” says Gabby. “Whether you’re starting from scratch or aiming for something big, we’ve got the kit - and now, through Level Water, we’ve got a way to support that access too.”

At Level Water, we believe in bold, driven, personal and joyful work. Zone3 brings all of that. And we’re proud to be working together to open up the water - one lesson, one event, one adventure at a time.

“It’s not just about products,” says Ian. “It’s about getting people in the water. That’s what we’re both here to do.”
